HI,Icant find the thread that discussed the location of the tag that shows the engine designation . Can it be reposted or explained again? Also my 1980 euro doesnt have the option code plate in the back. Can it be somewhere else?

Look on the front of the block, on the pasenger side, next to the coolant system cross over line. You may have to move some hoses out of the way.
