Post Do you get a T-Shirt w/membership?

oaky, I'm sitting here thinking how much I enjoy Rennlist and I had an Idea I would like to throw by John D. (and everyone else).

Although I am unemployed and haven't been able to buy my membership "as pathetic as it may sound", I thought of a way to donate funds to Rennlist with an added return perk.

This is all contigent if you DO NOT get a t-shirt upon membership submittal.

T-Shirt sales. If we can find a vendor, who is willing to work with us and incorporate the Rennlist logo along with your favorite type of Porsche Logo - I.E. 928,996,944,911 etc......along with your name. (I'm reaching here) would you be interested?.

Let's say the shirt cost 20$ would you be willing to pay an extra 5?. Which would go to Rennlist or the Rennlist favorite charity.

It's just an idea and I'm able to do some Networking being I have pleanty of time on hands (unfortunately).

The original idea came from me thinking - Boy, wouldn't it be cool if I had a Fancy Rennlist T-Shirt/Jersey with my name on it?.

Okay - so I'm bored!.

Drewster67,

I'd be up for that but then again, I'm a t-shirt freak anyway.

It is a good idea and I would imagine the cost would come down as the production went up. I'm not sure how the personal name idea would work out as that may require too much personal attention to each and every shirt but having say a number of versions with various models laid out would be cost effective.

Drewster...

The old 928 Owner's Club did that with the initial Charter Members - and is was a neat looking Tshirt.

That being said - when you join now, you get 2 Rennlist stickers for application.

Personally, I'd like to see a key fob with the rennlist emblem.

Cool

Drewster- I'm unemployed too [temporary furlough; Tim DeLarm was asking how I managed to get a whole month off in another thread...], and I'd love to take a box of RENNLIST T-shirts to Key West with me next month for a wet T-shirt contest at Atlantic Shores Resort!

[Funny thing about ASR: T-shirts would be ALL they were wearing!]

I believe Rennlist may already offer shirts and stuff.

Drew, drop John D. a note with your thoughts.

Randy - this is OT but John's private message box is full, does he have an e-mail?

I've been trying to get him to reset my avatar. It was reset at one time, but if you go into the pick avatar box, it sets it to blank.

Anyhu, I'd like it to be http://members.rennlist.com/porken/avatar.gif if you have a more direct mail route to him.

Brian:

Funny adaptation of my quote....what's funnier (or maybe not) is that the original quote is from the mayor of my fine city. She was describing the efforts of the city council who seem hell-bent on making unnecessary changes.
