Anti-Spooge, I need to get some of that before I go for Haz-Mat training in Key West next month. I can only imagine what is on the sheets in the rooms down there.

There was an interesting TV segment from Mike Rowe, who hosts the Dirty Jobs series on Discovery. Before he does ANTHING else in a hotel room, he pulls the spread off the bed and gets it safely stored out of the way. Hotels are pretty good about washing the sheets and stuff, but no telling what's been going on on top of that spread since it was last washed a decade or so ago. I spend way too much time living in hotels, and still learned a lot from that segment.

Dont drink out of the glasses in hotel rooms either. (not talking about the the disposable plastic cups in plastic) Prime Time did a segment on them a while back and in 100% of videos, the glasses were either never cleaned, or they were cleaned with toilet brush, rags, etc.

I'm just being a smart ***, not selling anything. I'd loose my last nut if I did that. I'm just amazed at who all is selling their cars, and at the worse time of year too. . . .
Ernie, get back to Texas and bring the GT w/ you. Ed, I think he's beyond hope and the front of the leash is already in California. Rob, well, he will be back....

Funny (well, not really, just strange you mentioned this) -- a friend sent me a link to the video about this last month when I was on the road (sorry, no time to dig it up just now). I thought it was kind of hokey. . . UNTIL -- I checked it out and I can vouch for the validity in a couple of Tex-A$$ hotels -- the glasses got 'sprayed clean'... I was rather 'surprised' -- and NOT in a good way!
Is it any wonder I travel with my own travel mug?
