Smile 1st Drive of a 996 C4S

Today I had a drive of my friend 2004 911C4S manual with 350bhp, unbelievable.

I can admit that there has been some advancement since they went water cooled like our 928. He has an automatic change over switch mounted on the dash to an electrically controlled exhaust bye-pass. With bye-pass open the noise was unbelievable. When closed it sound sedate. "exhaust noise, what exhaust noise officer"!

I have read about being thrown back into you seat when you floor the pedal, I really experience it today.

I would like to have one in my garage, but would still keep my 928.

That was the first Pcar I ever drove. I loved it. The sound was intoxicating.
