belt tensioner light oddity

eurowerke did it initially with the water pump. they said because of their $900 tool, it wouldn't need an adjustment. it did three days later. That's one of the reasons I didn't want to take it back to them.

2 hours to check and adjust the belt?

The problem is why the belt became so loose, not only the fact that it was loose.

Hopefully the belt is ok, but you should check it again soon. Make sure it's tracking straight on the pulleys, too.
