Jason-

spacers are necessary on the rear, not on the front (but I run them anyway to move the tire/wheel out to the edge of the fender).

I think I paid somewhere around $2200 plus $175 shipping......

Sure I can't sell these to ya....?

I like em but they are too rich for my blood. I know I don't want to roll the fenders though.

HA!!!

I didn't have to roll them very much.........!

I suggest you just put a spacer on those phone dials I sold you and move the tires/wheels out toward the fender lip......

you can get a 1 inch spacer that bolts to the original studs, and then has its own studs to bolt the wheels to. Check you tire sidewall to fender lip measurement and then you'll know how much spacer you can actually work with.

cost you a heck of a lot less than a set of tires and wheels?

There's already a huge 'who has the best wheels' and 'show us your wheels' thread(s). If I had my phone dials on I'd post up, but I don't and the pics of my 993 wheels (which aren't all that special, frankly) are already in the other one.

16'' phones with spacers and 245/50 16 rubber.. but i do love the carrera claws, if i uprade ill go to the 18'' aftermarket ones.
my car looks great with Gt silver paint and the phone dials. and sits great with the sports springs and wheel spacers...just like it should of been from the factory.

i cant remember ill look into it, but i think they were 22mm got them from 928 int.
them and the PHAT 245/50 tires looks beefy to me. id like to check out the 255/50 corvette style rubber seems thiers plenty of room, but will make the 16''s look more like 15''s

Russ...LOL..."Lobster Claws"??? AFAIK, they are commonly called "Crab Claws" in reference to the little forks (pinchers) at the end of the spokes. You can almost image the center looks like a crab also..who the heck knows, but I have never heard of Lobster Claws.

Why did Porsche set the rear wheels so far in compaired to the fronts? Is adding spacer going to change the handling of my car? Any reason I shouldn't add them?

Great looking car. Looks very close to mine. Do you have a sunroof? Did you change over the lights and mirrors? Jason
