Ed-

Man...don't do it! If I wasn't stuck in an Alaskan snowbank...(STILL!)...I'd be all over that. It's a good deal for however may get it.

The others are right...California and 928 go together!

We'll see Tim. If it doesn't get decent money, which I think is still below market value, I'll keep it. I've had some people interested in it, but I think that some have had the thought that they're going to steal this car. Again, I'm being pretty flexible, but it isn't going for $20K (or less).

Roger did about an hour under the car yesterday as a pseudo-PPI, and I think he will concur it is exactly as represented, if not a little nicer with some rarities......GTS windshield surround, pretty much a complete leather interior (save dash, pod & armrests), extra option code sticker, flat tire "kit", etc. Also, NO errors on Bosch Hammer, and he went thru the complete sequence of physically firing injectors, flappy, etc. We found a couple of oil pan bolts that were weeping, which I tightened today-it does not seem to be coming from the pan gasket, and the bolts seemed loose. I emphasize the term weeping. Lastly, as I knew, I've got a slight weep/drip under the PS reservoir, I did tighten the hose clamps today, which seemed to need it.

Oh, one of the steering rack bellows had two 1/2" splits.

EVERYTHING ON THIS CAR WORKS, and I'd put it in the upper 2 or 3% of all 928's out there. A driver's car to be proud of.

We'd have to sell both of them, at least what we paid for both of them together would get us what Ed is asking.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Sterling Hush bitch.

I checked the car out from top to bottom visually and it is as close to perfect you can get for a drivers car that is 16 years old.
Paint is 9.9 out of 10 which is really something for a white car.
Interior is a 9.7 out of 10. Slight scuffing on the drivers bolster. Ed's big wallet 8>)
Engine is one of the driest I have seen. The weep from the rear pan was a tiny drop of oil on three bolt heads. Valley is dry as a bone.
Original cosmoline everywhere.
Car drives straight and true.
Needs the PS weep fixing and the steering boot changing out and thats it.
No faults at all on the hammer and all checks came back perfect.
Idle stabilistaion done as well.
Very nice car.
Good luck with the sale Ed.

The GTS rear wing and Aero Mirrors are a real plus as well.

Ed- Sell the Jag instead. We sold my wife's S-Type for ( of all things) a Jeep Commander! I thought she would really miss it, but she loves her Jeep. Hell, I think I miss it more than she does. Good luck , in any event

We sold the Jag just before Christmas.....my wife's company went back to company cars, so now we've got a Chrysler 300 taking up room.

I'm either getting a Cayenne or a Ridgeline once this is all said and done.
