I used the "search" button, and found an interior picture that looks just like mine. This is a picture from an '87, so the seat shape is a little different, but this what my interior looks like. I guess I will be needing champagne dye. Thanks for all those that helped.

on a side note: interestingly enough this is the 2nd straight special order car that I ran for codes that came back without the option codes... I thing porsche took this out of their systems, you'll probably need a Certificate of Authenticity to confirm the color, your color code came back B9, which doesn't exist in my books or in any of the Porsche software I have available to me

Code is at least in option sticker. See my signature for codes for top to bottom single color interiors in classic gray and magenta.
Are you sure your GTS is "The Only Raspberry Red 928 in the World"? What is basis for this?

According to PET, in 1983 Champagne (LG5) was one of the leather colors available in 83 for the 928. It shows the same color, champagne (LG5), was available for the 1988 944.
I've had both 83 928 seats and 88 944 seats in the shop which I reupholstered in champagne to match the original color.
So there's a real good chance that what you have is champagne.
If you 'll be at the get together Saturday morning, I'll be there and will bring a color chart.

I have the same car !
I also have a slate blue metallic 1983 S It also has the blue and tan interior combination. I am also looking for the exact colors to order some dye.
I have my option codes but am still guessing about the interior colors. Can`t figure the diff between dark blue and navy blue or champagne and champagne 11
I will be watching this post to see how you make out. You can see interior pics on one of my previous pics.

Hi,
I have an original 83 928 catalogue, in Spanish, and I don't know if there were different colours in Europe and the US, but I can easily identify mine:
X7 Ruby Red Metallic and Beige-Gris leather interior.
If these were all the colours available for MY 83, there were no Cashmere or Champagne, but as I said maybe the interior and exterior colour charts were different in Europe and the US.
(sorry about the poor quality of scan...)
Bset regards

We could have found the origin of the term Pacha used to describe the Porsche seat material. See the chart in the previous post.
The pacha pattern appears to resemble the wing markings of a two tailed pasha buttlefly found around the Mediterranean.
The Portuguese and Spanish spelling is pacha. In other languages pasha.

In addition, the original light color was gray (gris) or tan (claro) in the original pacha velour not white as many people thought.

79 interior
I've never known what the colours/patterns of my interior are called (I've always just loved it!). From reading this and other posts, I see it appears to be cork with tenis. Is "tenis" spelled the same for English users, or is there some other spelling (like "pacha" and "pasha")? My colour of tenis isn't in the 83 catalogue shown above. It's more of a cream with black stripes. Anyone know what my specific tenis colours are called (see attached photo)?
