4 walls were included to guide oil into pickup but it will slip by too easily to opposite side due to g-force. Before I got I-J scraper I planned on making additional walls around pickup which would open only towards pickup. This would limit oil movement away from center but would still allow it to drain there. Pan would be practically 5 separate rooms with open roof instead of one room with office cubicle walls and hallway at center.

matt, i was waiting for someone to take the bait! i own two of them and alex aka cheburator the other one. we are in the final stages of configuring the oil intake through the bottom of the pans just now - ive been a bit slack through the xmas break and also ive got a lot of other stuff keeping me busy so havent quite got them finished. my relationship with these is like 'the precious' out of the lord of the rings...

a4sfed928, there is an edit button which you can push if you forget something.
Or are you just trying to post *****?
The price they are asking for the pan isnt too bad considering labour etc.

In your first post, I was under the impression that you were interested in doing something with the sump or oil pickup. And when I read you message regarding a crank-scraper, my first thought was there's no need to 'waste' your time on that as one is already figured out by an expert in the field, and you can spend your time on other things. It was not meant as a slam against you and your abilities.
Anyway, I apologize for the misunderstanding; my intention was not to ruffle your feathers. Gawd I need to work on my delivery...
I always enjoy reading your threads/posts as they're always about engines, the reason why I like 928's.
