Default My largest undertaking ever....what do you think

Now that I am almost done, I can get back to my 928.......

After building my gagage last year I had a great place to tear down and rebuild the shark .I am about 1/2 way there and I had to change gears.
My motherin-law had passed away and left us a small sum of cash and investments. The plan was to put a 700sq ft. addition to the opposite side of the house in a few years to complete what we concidered the "major" updates to our house. So we decided to move up the timeline on the addition, because neither of us are getting any younger and I was doing all of the work myself. We should be able to build and furnish it fo $50.000.00 when all is said and done. That would consist of a 16x25 family/theater room with a fireplace, small powder room and a utility room for the mechanicals. second floor is a 12x16 dressingroom/walkin closet off of our master. And a 10x16 master bath with a separate watercloset, built in tub and a 4/6 walk in shower.
So In Febuary of this year I started on the plans and submitted them in April, got approved and have been slaving ever since. Working 7:30-5:30 M-F and the occasional Saturday at the dealership and every other spare moment pounding nails !!

I am 96% complete. I need to wait until spring to finish the cedar siding on the dormer . And I 1/2 way with the tile work for the master bath.

Tell me what you think...

Yes, I call it the wifes " barbie car " It is a great little go-cart of a car to drive. I just picked up a e500 sport for myself.

Looks great. What is the reason for leaving a difference of a few inches to the roof line?

The difference in the roofline is purely cosmetic. I did not want the full expance of one long roof. I looked at it both ways when I drew it out..looked better with the step.

Same idea with the side view. The line of white trim on the side makes it look like a cape style roof that is boxed out in the back. Instead of one full covered in tan siding.

Really nice work, with the exception that the house is larger than the garage.
