Its filled with the twin turbo guy hocking his stuff, posting facts vs myths and it seems all the replies come from lemmings. Then there's Danglerb sending out gas powered blenders to our moderator. I am also mentioned although "not by name" yet again by someone on this list.
And if you weren't aware, Danglerb WAS THE SINGLE BIGGEST PARROT! Not to mention annoyance, I remember the threads he posted on about AC guys how he was playing 3 different guys against each other for a supposed contract on his house. That should tell you there that this guy is all about wasting EVERYONES TIME.
I don't know about you guys, but when Dan Glerb was here, the thread rate for new topics was fast!
Anybody else miss the guy?
Take a breath and let it go. Were you some kind of a play ground bully when you were a kid. Or did everyone pick on you. Now behind a computer keyboard you can try to make yourself feel like a big man. Move on dude. This is a 928 forum. Maybe you should be banned. Really, all you guys using dan for a punching bag should be ashamed.
His name is Mike. He used Danglerb for everything from water softeners to how to stick a rod up the wrong end of a goat.
I find it really funny how some don't bother to do the google on that name. You will find a lot of stuff. I don't care if he comes back or not, but damn, do some research.
The way some people reacted to the guy was not priceless.
I don't care how you justify it. An appalling display for any newbies who happened to witness it.
The reality is that the guy has toned down a lot, but others have not. The guy is one of us,an enthusiast, but the whole exercise made me wonder who us is, and how I fit in.
He was a very enthusiastic new owner. I'm sure there are plenty more of us here who were just as excited about our 928, but didn't show it by posting so much to Rennlist. He has toned it down a little and he now owns 3 928's, two of which are Euro S'.
The reason I feel like he deserves another chance is that even when everyone jumped on him and bashed him, he never hit back. The only time he got worked up was that last thread of his where he was wondering why his threads were being deleted by the moderator. Even after being banned he never showed any animosity towards anyone or even Rennlist. He has taken this whole thing in stride and taken his ban like a man.
In honor of this thread, I am reinstating my "Save Danglerb" avatar,
Proabably true. Actually I think he is a great guy, giving, compassionate, loves his country, damn good looking (from 20 feet) and uncanny track skills. But that's just me
