I voted 'yes' let him back in.
Banning for flagrant rule infractions, spamming or personal attacks is one thing, but I think it is wrong to ban somebody just because of personality conflicts. Jeez, that is what the 'ignore' feature is for.
If you banned everyone who was obnoxious there wouldnt be many posters left on this site, and then it would be quite dull.

Fabio is right, I was always impressed that no matter how mean spirited the attack, Dangler never went there. He would always respond as if his antagonist had been civil. That is very unusual.
He was an attention *****, but other than that, pretty harmless. I don't buy that he was a danger due to less than stellar advise on technical issues.
I have never understood why he was banned, in fact I've assumed "banned" was probably a misnomer since it seemed he was badgering Randy to let him out of his membership. I just assumed Randy and John said OK here's your money but you can not come back and post as a "user", hence, banned.

Funny, I always read his name as Dangler B. not Dan Glerb.
I've been a member of this board longer than most and read it EVERY day - several times a day. By my post count, you can tell I don't post that often mainly because I haven't done much wrenching besides changing tires and oil and I'm here to learn - which I do by reading the boards.
The only thing that has annoyed me in my five (almost 6) years on this board, was all the new threads he started every day. I say if he wants to come back let him back but limit the number of new topics he can start a day to 20. Thats about half his previous daily average.

Yes, I always read it as dangler-b as well. And I picture him to look like the character 'Dangle' from that show Reno911. Funny how one can render the web with their own version of reality .... but I suppose that applies to real life as well.

Normy went the same route as "Suicide By Cop". He was trying to get banned at the end. Sort of a shame I think.
Danglerb's name isn't Dan Glerb. I have no idea what Danglerb means but I believe Randy said his name was Mike. I did a google search for him back during all of the drama and came up with this picture.

It was no joke though, Danglerb had the dumbest stuff (and insulting too) to add to this group. He had hundreds of posts before he even had a 928.
That stuff only ruins what this place is for us all. A place for all of your technical questions, 928 gathering spot, and support group for the 928 addiction. Not a joke to be farted around with using the dumbest crap ever posted; seemingly because he had too much time on his hands.
Maybe time to close this thread before we start to have flashbacks to the rear seat lazy-boy idea.
