Pics of '85 S3, '88 S4 and '90 GT rods
Here are some pics of the rods from '85, '88 and '90 motors (left to right). I've been wanting to do this since viewing Erkka's pics of various Porsche rods in this post.
85 & 88 are nearly identical except that the 85 has a 928 part number and the 88 has a 944 part number. Also rods from a '91 GT engine (not shown) were identical to the '90 GT.

whats the status of the motor build up??
going to stick some numbers and come out and run with us this year?
you would do well, and heck, the car is already go to go. all you need to do is finish the cage, right?

Yup, those are what my 90 GT rods looked like. Does the 90 S4 have the same Rods?
I thought it was interesting how narrow the rods are just under the small end. But apparently these rods arent a problem area so i havent given it much thought.
I would love to see pics of the early and late GTS rods as well, if anyone has those
