I don't name my cars, but my wife and daughter kind of have - - "which one." Which one are you messing with now? Which one are you driving today?

The "87"
The "88"
The "GT"
The "GTS"
My 22 year old daughter game them all model/actress names because "the car has a classic shape"
87 is Ava (Gardner)
88 is Betty (Grable)
GT is Rita (Hayworth)
GTS is Sophia (Loren)
996 is Garbo (Greta)

(i rarely post, but thought i'd jump in on this resurrected thread, because hey, why not!)
i'm somewhat embarrassed to say i have "named" all of the cars i have owned.
red '89 S4 = lola
grey 996 = sally (anyone seen the original "Cars")
lola replaced a brg '91 jaguar XJS = The Queen (short for Queen Mary because of its mass, turning radius, and country of origin)
most recently picked up a silver bmw 850. it hasn't been christened formally, but i dont think its going to take a female name. i'm thinking klaus.
