Borscovitz - I've had 4 P-cars over the last 34 yrs, always having 1 in the garage at anytime and they were all nicknamed 'Borscovitz' and for the life of me I can't remember how it started

When I was twelve I read a series of boy's books about a car called the "The Black Tiger". The BT was a versatile, home-built sports car designed by a brilliant Scottish engineer and driven by a brash young rookie. The books were called "The Black Tiger at Le Mans", "The Black Tiger at Indianapolis", and even "The Black Tiger at Bonneville". That car could do anything. It seems funny now, but those books got me hooked on sports cars at an early age.

So my car is called "The Black Tigershark"

the 80's plate starts with BKY, so she's Becky, AKA ''the beater''.

The 85 is creatively known as ''The 85''. "She's a rocket !" and ''That things a beast !" are the two common comments.

My ol 89 was known as The Monster. ''That's a badass car !''

Also known as "crack" by my better half...928 stuff can become addictive. I don't have a problem.

Not yet and I don't anticipate any. I even parked illegally very conspicuously in front of my shop on Capitol Hill in Seattle once with the decal front plate. My hope was that the most evil and heinous parking enforcement officer would come along and throw the book at poor froggy. Bear in mind this particular meter maid had once before cited froggy for no front plate, so she looked extra hard in this area.

I was never so happy to receive a $38 fine. My facsimile of a front plate passed the acid test with flying colors!

Tass has it right, I call my cars by their colors, the white car, the black car, the silver car, and the convertible...uhm...the convertible.

However, I do like to call the white car. The Dick sometimes.

The 89 track car = Der Yeti (so named for the wicked howl of the exhaust at wide open throttle, and of course it's white)

My previous black 87 = The Black Hole (named by my wife because any money within a 10 mile radius could not resist its gravitational pull.)

The driver is "Carli"; donor is "Carl". "Carli" is "favorite" in German.

We name all of our cars. There's Jenny, Jackie, Jerry, Fran, Mary, Larry and Sam, besides Carli and Carl.
