Default Christmas came early (chrome plenum)

After months of waiting my plenum finally arrived for my 81 OB. Enjoy...

Couldn't afford the arms at $80 each, so I had them powdercoated gloss black.

Jeebus...... very nice but that looks expensive! Did they plate the inside too to improve air flow?

That car is really coming together. The wheels, TT spoiler, etc. are making for a really sharp looking OB.

I left it on the kitchen table so I can see it on the way to the fridge for a frosty. Can't decide if I want to replace the porsche emblem or not though? I kinda like it plain.

Looks fantastic. Replace the emblem, polished and painted, IMHO

The entire plenum had to be mirror polished to remove all the casting defects. Only reason I had it chromed was it holds up much better than polishing and easy to clean.

Sweeeet!
I'd say yes to the emblem too.... Just sit it on there and get used to looking at it. Try not to rub the chrome off - pet the dog instead
