Angela, it may be better for me to now have a calendar like that lol. Roger is a great guy, he's already sent me a few calendars over the years .... it's my turn to do something for him :-)

Hey Hey, Easy!!!

I step away from the computer for one day and I come back to this??? WTF?
I am laughing my ARss off, forgot about those pics, especially Roger Doger on the hood doing his best Andrew Olson Imitation!!!!

Kim, thanks for posting the pics that you were sworn to never take out of the camera! Yes, the spotted dick shots are classic!

Well, I was going to keep this under wraps for a while, but my good buddy ROGER is one easily excited DUDE as you can tell by the pics!! The deal is still hinging on a PPI and how the car actually is in person, but yes I'm pretty pumped on this one!!! As anyone who knows me will tell you it takes me a LOOOOONNGG time to make a decision on the "Right" car. I've had the Silver Bulit for 12 years, but have really been "looking" for an S4 or newer for the last 3. Thanks to everyone that has listened to me talk about finding the "Right" one over and over, especially my DFW brothers and sisters here , folks that have looked at cars for me over the years and given me steller reports on some GREAT 928 examples around the country, Andrew Olson, Rich Andrade, and several others I'm probably forgetting! I appreciate the texts, vmails, congrats from everyone here as well. I guess the pressure is on to actually GET the car now???

Andrew, spark up the 928 Shrine and send some good vibes this way so the PPI will come back AOK!!!

BTW, I will have the car checked out and verified by DNA reports that the Charlie Car is actually the Charlie Car. I have CSI scheduled to come over with their Blue light next weekend to look for trace evidence and do a thorough Cleanup!!!

Let you know how it goes, stay tuned.......

Default SILVER BULIT II !

Chuck,

Couldn't be happier for you! It definitely is worth it to wait and find that special shark that is 'ready to be driven!'
Now you can spend more time behind the wheel of your car instead of under it!
(And previously owned by a 'Hollywooder' is just a plus!)

By the way, those aren't the pics I vowed would 'go nowhere', but I'm thinking you guys might not remember the rest!

Hey - Atlanta - that's a fun bonding drive to DFW in your new shark.
I took that route with both my sharks...

I'm thinking for the next 'group drive' you should lobby out of the caboose position so we can all follow your Silver Bulit II!

Miles of smiles to you! See you 'around town!'
Kim

PS: Your CSI inspection gives new meaning to the DFW 'blue light special!'

You know...this brings up something I've thought about when buying a used car, particularly a 928. For those with friends in law enforcement, I wonder if it would be a good idea to run the new purchase past a drug dog. If there's anything illegal hidden in the car, it would seem better to find out that way rather than at a random traffic stop where your innocence is much less clear.

Many years ago I was pulled over, along with a number of others, by "the bear in the air". There were at least half a dozen of us, and as I waited for my warning ticket (thank you State Trooper's Association window sticker! ) the troopers ran drug dogs past everyone's vehicle. Now, I had owned that particular car since new and don't use drugs, so I was unfazed by it. But thinking back now, what if I had been in a used car with someone else's leftover merchandise in it? How would I prove my innocence?
