I just bought a 3 wire sensor from 928intl for my 83'. The sensor has a 3 plug connector but the car has a single green wire going to the black and a double plug for the white wires.

My question is whether I can just solder a new 3 plug for both?, and does it matter which white wire goes to which? Also what do the white wires do?, just heat it up?
