Post brown fluid found in brake booster

When I took off my brake booster, there was a brown fluid running out of it. I do not believe it was oil, maybe dirt brake fluid. Let me guess....a bad brake master? What do you think?

Definitely bad master, leaking out the rear piston seals. Make sure you empty it ALL out. Booster is probably ok itself, but hard to verify if it is off the car. Easy to get off is it?

Yeah, it is a real pain!!!! Remember to never disconnect the brake pedal until you have the MC completeley off. Otherwise, you will have to put it back together again to get push rod out the other end so the booster can actually be fit through that small little space in the engine area. I swore I would never do that again after I put in the clutch MC. Is this the reason why my brake warning lights are on and my brakes are weak, even though I fully bled everything, and the container is full?
