Randy -
I've no idea how many cars were actually there. I know it was several fewer than anticipated - I think perhaps due to the combination of rain, sniper concerns, and the usual last-minute mechanical difficulties. I'd say there were probably 50-60 folks there, and perhaps 30 928's? John Eifert would know for sure...

It was a great opportunity for knowledge sharing - where else would you find Jim Bailey, Marc Thomas, Dave Roberts, Wally Plumley, Dave Lloyd, & Jay Kempf all on one in-the-flesh q&a panel?? Most impressive.

Hey Greg, how about some captions describing each photo?

Just use the edit function (paper/pencil icon) to add 'em, if you get the chance. Thanks.

Definitely the Knights of the 928 Roundtable.

Hi Randy,

I thought about captions. But, with pictures like Dave Roberts and Jim Baily together and Wally staring at the over-sized rear wing (measuring it for his corvair?), Greg Nichols on the cell phone (giving emergency maintenance tips?) and Earl comparing the similarities of a 928 suspension to a Schwinn, I wasn't sure my sarcastic nature would play well here, so I refrained.

It was a fun event. I had to leave at 1PM. I missed the round table and still I wonder who ate the dinner I paid for that night at the banquet

Great pics! Thanks for posting them.

I wish I could have made it. I have only been to one 928 event. The 2000 1st annual(?) 928 OCIC in Wichita Kansas. That was a great time and I would gladly attend every single event if I could.

Thanks again for the pics.

We had over 60 people and I'm sure the car count was around 40 (they were tucked in all over the place). Less than last year, but I had a bunch of no-shows and lots of people who had sniper concerns. The weather did not cooperate either.

Greg, I'm guessing the waiter who wanted me to give him a Frenzy 6 t-shirt ate your dinner. There were two empty chairs and we got charged for all the diners I contracted for. Same thing with the DE which took a bath in more ways than one. Oh well. $*it happens.
