Default Shark Tuner Rental

Anyone have a shark tuner for rent with the patch for an 86? If no one has the 86 patch would a 50/50 split for the upgrade be interesting?
Let me know Murf is getting my 86 S/C kit delivered this week I would like the option of fine tuning this car!

With the 85/86 option I believe they run about $2,200. Maybe more now with the decline in the U.S. $.

John

It's very hard to justify the cost if I'm only doing one car. I'm not sure if your having a problem with asking this question but no one in Florida has one; never mind the option to pay to have it done. If anyone would go in on one or your willing to rent one I'm sure there would be a lot of takers. If you can direct me to an option please do!

What we need is an experienced operator/owner who could travel and tune to those who need it.

"Have Sharktuner, will travel"

But that could get expensive too...

I justified mine because I will have three sharks to keep tuned. And everytime someone on this list invents some new and improved go fast goody for our sharks, I can then retune to accomidate it.

Well it goes without saying a Dyno is the only way to tune these car's with out killing someone.
Is your ST frozen way up north in no man's land?

Hi
I fully appreciate the situation you are in. You are correct, no-one in FL has one that I know of.

For obvious reasons I can't publish a list of existing customers, but I am sure that if anyone who has one is willing to share in some way with you they will see this thread and respond if they are interested.

As you are buying a kit from Tim, I assumed that he will supply you with whatever EPROMs etc are required with his kit.

John,

Yes Tim is doing that but with the X-pipe and a Mufflerectamie I did the back pressure will be changed. I know on my grand National even sending the chips out for burning did not dial in that car correctly.

Anyone who want's to rent thers or pitch in for an 86 upgrade let me know.

Met a guy at SITM06 from AL who had an early Andy Keel SC and a sharktuner, he said he was going to get the 85-86 add ons. "All4woody", I sent him a few e-mails but never got a response. Anyone know him?

This is a cross post from the development thread....I am also interested in sharing the cost of the add on in order to get my 85 tuned.

Regards,

Ken

Can we have a show of hands and P.M. with Telephone numbers!

Well have we got something going here ?

I think we should or I will compile a list of people in the state of Florida to pitch in to purchase one of these. Paypal would be the avenue to get this done along with a piece of paper between all investors spelling out who is responsible, how long you can hang on to it and who's garage it sleeps in. If it gets damaged we need to spell out who pays for it.
For you out of state guy's let's talk.
I have a large garage and would be thrilled to have the crew over to tune these things there is a dyno 3 miles form me.
LET'S DO THIS!!!!

John,
Any progress on the "$995.00" ST you had a thread on a few months ago?
