Every Saturday morning, between 9:30AM and noon, a group of exotic car loves meets at a back parking lot of Santana Row in San Jose. At times there are 40+ cars, including lots of Lambos, Ferraris, Maseratis, Bentleys, Mercedes, BMWs, a few Japanese types, and of course lots of Porsches. One local owner sometimes brings his 928s, but it would not hurt to see more of them.

I plan to go there more often, after meeting a bunch of very nice people there last week.

Anybody else planning to attend?

Bumping this thread. I'm planning to be there this Sat. to start of the first weekend of the new year. Anyone else?

OT but a related bump. Spotted a white S-4 at Jack London Square, Waterfront Plaza Hotel New Year's morning; I was checking out and on to SFO. Caused a "Shark twinge" (doesn't describe it adequately -- really need to get the car out this weekend) Was this a Rennlister?

Is it worthwhile coming around 11:15 AM? That is the earliest I can get there on Saturday because I have a workout at 10 AM to 11 AM.

Ron: They ususally start trickling in around 9:30, and leave around noon (or go for lunch).

Steve: Why did you not tell us you're in the area? We could have shown you lots of sharks... without you having to go surfing in the Pacific Ocean! I live about 20 minutes from Jack London Square, and would have loved to meet you!

Seems like it's always an exotic car club meeting at Santana Row. I'm still trying to figure out how the Bentleys and Lambos always get a parking spot in front of Sino or Tanglewood while it takes me a half-hour to find an open space in either garage.

Hmmm... I had not planned to go this Saturday, but now I am a lot more motivated. Providing the weather holds-up. I hear that if it's very cold, rainy, or looks like it could rain, the real exotics don't come-out.
