Unhappy Now Look What You've Done!

<img src="http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/LineOff.jpg" alt=" - " />
When pulling a leaking heater hose I must have disconnected this vacuum hose from the rear of the passenger side fuel rail assembly. The fuel diagram shows it connecting to a multiple junction somewhere near the throttle body.

Until I pull all of the intake plenum I cannot determine where to reconnect this vacuum line. Nor do I wish do start fishing around in the engine block V which current is an oily mess.

Does anybody have a sense of how I may reseat this line without too much difficulty.

There have been multiple suggestion to your 'current'demise check the archives and I am positve someone will offer BTDT tips.
For starters though I would add a dental mirror as well as a make-up 'stick' mirror to your,no doubt, growing collection of unseemly tools seeing the target is half the battle. You might want to add a small flex-light to the collection as well.
Once you see it, develope a plan of battle.
Some have used baling wire as a fish line and then tied string to the Vacuum line 180 degrees out and pulled it back thru, located, then seated it using this method. GOOD LUCK!!!
If you can find the Grinch this time of year he has long double-jointed fingers ... .

Same exact thing happened to me. I used a coat hanger. I bent an "S" on the end. I made the "S" so that it would hold the rubber elbow a little snug. You don't want it too snug because you want to be able to release from it once you stick it on the throttle body tube. I made it in an "S" because I wanted to be able to push or pull the rubber elbow. Can you see where it goes? I rested a shop light on the top of my intake and laid across the engine with my head down where the MAF usually sits. From there you should be able to get it. Good luck!

Looks like you've already been to Bernie's DIY gang site:
<a href="http://groups.msn.com/thediygang" target="_blank">http://groups.msn.com/thediygang</a>

under rich's' 85S3 ( page 2 under the albums) there are pics of the disassembly and re-assembly (with silicon vacuum hose) of the air intakes. Some of the pics show the throttle housing and the associated hoses. There also is a diagram posted on Brian's 86.5 intake of the vacuum system.
