Post Green wire

Has anyone found an easy way to change out the infamous green wire from distributor to ignition control unit? It looks like there is a retaining plate at the distributor that secures the plug with 2 screws, one screw that is easy to get off and one that I can't get at no matter what. I really do not want to remove the distributor. This problem appears a couple of times in the archives, but no solution that I could find.
If I do need to pull the distributor, any procedures and words of caution/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Al,

I am getting ready to change mine as well. I found a flexible screwdrive made by stanley that I am certain will allow me to reach that bottom screw. I have no intention of pulling the distributor to do it. If I have to needle-nose vise-grips will be used.

I removed the cap and vac hoses, took the clamping bolt clear out and just spun housing around to get to the screws. Replaced green wire and reset timing. Worked great for me.

Lonnie's way seems like the way to go, thanks. I've borrowed a buddy's light a couple of times now,(cash flow shortage after tires/rims/timing belt water pump and on and on!!) but I guess it's time to buy a timing light.
