Center armrest installation question
Hello...I just purchased a center armrest/cassette box for my 79 Shark...It has 4 holes on the bottom that screws go thru (ouch) to attach to the hump...Does anyone know how long the screws should be ??? I don't want to hit anything below with a screw that is too long...
Thanks
Dave

Jerry... Thanks for the picture...BUT the screw in the picture does not look long enough to get thru the base of my armrest and into the hump..On the under side of my armrest are 4 oblong plastic tubes about 3/8 of an inch long molded into the bottom of the tray ...They seem to be longer than the screw in the picture...They appear to be made to hold the center of the inside tray up so it does not bow down...Are all of the armrests built the same ??? Mine has a Porsche part number.. Also it feels like there are wires running under the carpet.. I think I need to take a look under the carpet before I attempt to attach it...ANY suggestions would be appreciated...THANKS
