I finally made it home from sunny Naples and 84 degrees to 23 degrees and snow in Detroit .

Spencer is a great guy and a very gracious host. My thanks to him for selecting me to complete this project, his patience and fine cooperation.

Here's a link to some final pictures

http://www.928leathershop.com//Flori...pgallery2.html

Some notes and answers to questions.

I didn't install the audio equipment. Its an area I prefer not to do since I'm not an audio expert, some installs require modifications, it requires more tools, and it adds more time to the project. The wires I found are taped just inside the speaker openings and most times the speakers can be installed without removing the door or rear quarter panels. I attempt to redo the wiring in the console exactly like it was previously.

If anyone is interested in the cost for on site installs, I'd be more than happy to provide and individual quote. Planning for this project started last April.

Spencer sent many of the panels to my shop in Detroit where I covered them and sent them back. I removed, repaired and recovered the dash, pod and console in Naples.
I had a helper with me (Mario) who installed the carpet, rear quarter panels and headliner.
The condition of the many interior panels was very good to excellent. Often they have to be repaired or replaced before the leather goes on.

That is just friggin' sweet looking. I don't know what the cost was, but I'm sure Spencer is thinking that it was more than worth it. Nice work.

Jeez I wouldn't spend any time in the house if my interior looked like that. I'd get in the car, put some tunes on and just enjoy the look, smell and feel of that leather. Very nice work and great color choices.

Rob,

Congratulations on a job well done! Thank you and your staff for concentrating on the 928, not too many artisans out there who would take the time to do what you do for the 928 owner community.

I'm sure you made Spencer a very happy 928 owner.

Regards,
Constantine

May the inside of my future new engine look as gorgeous as the inside of your current car!

Champagne II is correct for all of it... The flash of the camera makes the leather look a little lighter, but it is all the same... with Mocha stitching, which is just a couple of shades darker, the pascha in cassette box is all I could get out of the wife, she is not a fan of pascha...

I will post more pics of the detail process when I get it going, just small things now , and once it is done, basically it will be a brand new 86.5 shark.

Rob did an incredible job, pictures just don't do it justice...

Ok, these should be better, there was a thread on this about a week ago when this was all going on. I still have a list of details, but the big stuff is done, almost a year long project...
