Thanks !

The ad says that is has "Factory Rootwood accent package".

Was this an actual factory installed item; (therefore I would assume it would have an option code for it) or is it more like a dealer installed Porsche accessory?

Brent
It looks like the factory kit to me. I have only seen it in one car so it is hard to tell. Although I know the shifter is real. I have been looking for a factory one for a while but they have been NLA for years. I would not be surprised if the entire package is factory original.

If anyone buys this car and doesn't like the wood accents let me know i would be happy to take them off your hands.

I can understand removing the unleaded fuel sticker, the 5 MPH bumper information sticker and leaving the alarm decal on there, but to just remove only the unleaded fuel sticker seems a little strange to me.

Oh well, such a nice car (and color) but a bit out of my budget.

I agree it is a bit strange why they would remove the others and leave the 5 mph sticker. I have these on all my cars and although I want to remove them I figure it is better to leave them. I also have one in the center of my windshield of my turbo. i don't recall what it says but figure it can't be replaced and might be worth something one day.

I had this sticker on my 914. It cracked me up when I first saw it and my friend almost removed it on me. I actually had someone offer me $250 for the horn section with the sticker because they were NLA. In fact many 914 owners enthusiasts didn't think it was factory because they had never seen one before. I later found out it was factory and probably could have gotten a lot more for the sticker alone. One day who knows what value an original sticker might add to a classic car. Although I am sure by now someone is reproducing these.
