The drive down to Little Sienna was a pretty good Autocross/DE last year. Believe me, if you want to drive... there is no shortage of roads.

You haven't done a DE, have you?

DR has mentioned renting a nearby airfield. Autocross would be fun.

Friday 9 am at mile marker 1 of BRP, every year a few show up there.
The thursday night before there are hotels in Waynesboro VA about 5 minutes from the friday meeting point. Last year we had 5 of us meet up with 3 more there and had 8 928s cruising down BRP on friday... great time had by all.
p.s. the rangers don't come out until the weekend on BRP, and very little traffic too...

Thanks! I thought about it, and I'm sure my wife would love a break at that point, but I don't think I'd be able to tear the baby away from mama for a couple of days. Also, I don't think a child seat fits in the back of a 928...

No worries about baby goin' rice. It will either be Saab, Porsche (and not until after age 21) or nuthin' (ok, maybe an American Muscle car... but that's my limit).

Sharks In The Mountains

www.928gt.com 120+ 928's in the mountains with tons of twisty roads on the way. I suggest that any new 928 owner try to make it. Its a must do on the 928 calendar.

yabbut, I want to have one there to drive around from project to project. The current project list looks like two places in Florida, one in New Jersey, one near Philly, two in Mississippi, one in Alabama, and two future in Tenn. Wife/dollar squeezer says use rental cars, since there's no way to get reimbursed for 928 driving costs. I'm getting tired of rental cars, trust me. I put relatively few miles on my own car, out of the 12-15k total I drive every year. Might make 12 tanks of gas in the 928 in 2007. It's touch-and-go right now, with half a tankful in the car and half a month left in the year. Less than 3k miles so far, not enough fun time driving.

I need to get a room reserved. Might show up in a Mustang or something, though.

Rent the absolute lowest price car you can then park it and drive the 928. What do you mean I used a lot of gas for a neon?
