Exactly - except in my case SITM stands for Sand In The Memories - 6 months and I'm outta here!!

Not sure I'll get to the real SITM this year, alas - we'll see.

Done? Mid-January maybe?

I'm supposed to get the heads back around Christmas time (plus or minus). Inside of the engine bay will be finished either tonight or tomorrow including new power steering lines.

I still have to rebuild the AC lines and compressor. Other than that, I'm pretty much waiting on the heads.

I can't wait. I will be staying at the hotel with everyone else this year. I feel that I missed out on the spirit of SITM by staying at a cabin last year. I've got lots of projects to finish in the next 6 months.

What does everyone think about trying to arrange a 928 DE or auto cross at SITM? How fun would that be?

Sean... were you not following us last year? That's about the best DE you'll ever get. Maybe you need to adjust your rev limiter!

For the lazy butts... It's June 6-8th.

Just made my hotel reservation at the Best Western. (828) 898-4571, don't forget to ask for the Porsche Shark rate.

The lady said only one other person had mad their reservation... I find that hard to believe.

You know I was. Until my car decided it needed a rest and a drink. I want to do it again this coming year. I will be better prepared now that I know what to expect.

I just thought that if there were something at the event it would get alot of people interested. Actually it was Tareks idea and I thought it was a good one.

Alright, who knows the best low cost flat bed service, for say, 3 Sharks from Las Vegas, to Tenn/NC I mentioned to Tony and Bill that maybe we could get a flat bed to transport. That's a long round trip for just a weekend, and this way we could bring out the Vegas crew with our Sharks

I had a great time last year and plan on making it an annual trip

Remember you don't have to flatbed them the WHOLE way... Maybe as far as Alcoa, TN for the Dragon?

On the other hand... I suppose it would be nice if you shipped them to DR and had someone who knows these cars receive them.

Any particular reason it has been changed to Best Western instead of Holiday Inn?
