A supercharged 32v 928 doesn't need a manual transmission. Just something to consider when you are shopping.

hi Candleman,
Glad for your good fortune. It's hard to see your post as anything but a bit of bragging about your good fortune. (I'm Rich Biatch!!!) Most of us have just enough discretionary income to keep our cars running. We think of incremental projects. If I was a jealous type, I would be very envious of someone who could simply buy the car I was dreaming of for years. That's maybe why you are taking some abuse from the guys. If I had come into a fortune, I would not announce it here. I would simply ask about the "investment car" opportunities. These guys would speak their minds without the social comment, unless that's what you were looking for.

Yeah, congrats on coming into some bucks. Humility is the key. Nobody wants to associate with a pompas ***. Easy come easy go. I hope it lasts for you.

All in fun, wish I was a rich biatch.

928s will NEVER be collectible with very few exceptions. They are too bulletproof so they get driven with lots of miles. They are cheap so poor biatches get hold of them and do silly things with no maintenance, so they get worse.

My advice? Find the nicest one you can, exactly like you want. Then go nuts with it, s/c, turbo, stroker, anything and everything goes. You will never get your money back, it will never appreciate, so enjoy it as a CAR. Then get another one.

That is just cruel! Baiting a non-member (just a user) to look at an OT thread!

Imagine the dozens of Ferrari forum posts:
"Due to my success I'm a rich beech, should I buy this F40 or wait 4 years and find one for $500,000,000? Is red a good color?
