Geee Teee OH I wish I had a real GTO.......

funny that you should be "playing" with a Aussie wanna be---

one of these Geee Teee OH's tried to out run (more like out pull) my Dually pickup on the way home just a while ago.......

All I heard was this hollowing sound, and the goat trying to outrun me to the next exit. Sad, but true, the goat just could not get away from my 496 BBC 1 ton dually.

I backed off at 100 mph-----don't tell the wife......

To bad it's put away until March or April. I drove the "wifes" C-4 today and its nice but about 200 HP short. LOL

Seems a shame you guys put your car's away. I live in NW Ohio and will drive it right up until we get snow. I feel it is better for the car to be driven every few weeks through out the winter. If we get snow and they salt the roads then I am done. By the way this cold weather with the SC makes the car amazing to drive.

I am considering a job in Massachussets. The toughest part about moving would be not being able to drive my car year round.

It is to be close to freezing in Houston tonight. Looking forward to driving early tomorrow!

I did the first self installed Murph stage II, and I am still VERY satisfied with it.

Hey Rob what part of MA are you looking at? I've lived in Western and Easter MA. Some parts of MA have a longer driving season than others and it really isn't too bad. Lots of car guys in this state and depending on the region there are tons of weekly car shows.

That happened Saturday. I think 8-10 inches of snow fell, they put down about 2 feet of salt.

If people knew how to f*cking drive in the wet crap & drove decent cars with snow tires we wouldn't need to salt the roads!!

I like the ******* I saw during the blizzard driving his RX-8 with Z rated tires.

Afshin,

The job itself is in Andover. I go up for a second round of interviews next week. If successful, and if we can reach a mutual deal then we would start to do some serious house-hunting in that area. Sucks that it is in the middle of winter to house-hunt though. I may get an apartment and the wife and kids move up in the spring - allows me to get a better feel for the area, and then allows us to check the place out without that white stuff everywhere.

Ken,

Good luck with round 2.

There are a bunch of 928 and Porsche guys in general up that way. It's a good time to buy a house in MA, prices have dropped and people want to sell. Rates are also relatively low still. Your timing would be great. I agree that learning the area is important. Definitely talk to locals, talk to a good agent and talk to coworkers. Not sure how old your kids are, if they're young there are many good websites on schools which provide a good overall comparison, if I can dig them up I'll email them to you.

I lived in Andover for a number of years as a kid after my dad moved the family up from Florida to take a new job (it worked out great for him).

I'd be happy to help out with any questions about Andover, neighborhoods, school systems (they are very good there) or anything else if you decide to transition up this way. Plenty of Rennlisters around here, we'd be happy to hook you up. Good luck with the negotiations!
