Default Center Comb & Footwell replacement Diaphragms

Good news and bad news.

1) Good News - I have found a replacement diapragm for the center comb & footwell actuators. It is made from Flurosilicone so should last longer than the older rubber ones.
2) Bad News - It costs $36.50 8>(

On the positive side that is a lot less then the complete assy at $80 & $60 respectivly.

My price includes shipping in the US.

One day I will have them made and get the price down even further.

Excellent news (although a couple of weeks too late for me)!

Actually I'm so pleased with the difference it has made that I don't mind that it cost more than if I'd waited. I hope your new diaphrams encourage others to refresh their HVAC actuators, it's really worth doing.

I may be doing this over winter, good to know there are alternatives.

FYI the motor mounts bought from Roger made a profound difference on the smoothness of the car.

Rog, what are you missing at this point with regard to the HVAC diaphragms? Defrost?

Defrost and Recirc are the same size, so Roger has them all covered now.

Hi Paul,
Not technically correct but close.
The Defrost requires a slightly longer diaphragm - 5mm approx. - and in some cases was not sealing so I stopped selling it for that application.
I think I have found an alternative for the Defrost but need to check it out first.
The recirc will work in the defrost it just takes a liitle manipulation to make seal.
Very soon I will have them all but I am not satisfied with the pricing as yet.
Roger
