the (new) Charger was originally a 4-door, but the rear doors were to be suicide/hatch doors like the Saturn coupes......

then somebody decided that they had to try to compete with the Beemers and Mercedes 4-door sedans.......

Sure, the SRT8 is one bad *** ride, but they could have built it on the original idea of a hatch door and got the proportions right.

Now it's just a four door Beemer killer.

will the Panamera be in the same ball park......?


it's still ugly and has bad lines.

I expect it to have stunning performance (beyond almost all 4 door uber-sedans), but it will be awkward in styling, and cost so much that almost no one will use it as the daily-driveable-exotic that would seem to be its design intent.

So if Porsche can sell an all wheel drive V-8 with active suspension and a full load of stability control abs etc high line trim for $70k maybe the Panamera need not be as expensive as some think ??
