Last '86.0 was VIN 0937 and first '86.5 was 1001. VIN's 0938-1000 were not made at all it seems.

This is the main reason for favoring the 86.5 MY, although the non-S4 brakes ("S" brakes) of 85 & 86 are still acceptable.
That is good to know. So the S4 brakes are what they put on the 951-S Correct?

Default Speaking of '86 specs

Ain't that purdy?

What's up with the PS pulley? Kinda looks like an overrun clutch?

Scored some '86 dlr manuals off fleaBay. Awesome car. I'd buy one.
I was worried they'd be leftover '85 text, but it describes the four piston brakes, and interior light delay.
Shane, I might let you look at them, if you promise not to drool.

(If I can find a large format scanner, I'll make a PDF.)

HaHa

Do you got one of these??

'86 product knowledge workbooks they gave dealers so they could talk intelligently about the car they were selling...?
