Damn,
I've got the heaters blowing and my lights lit up in the garage for the big game. I think it's just below 50 and I'm cold.

Let's face it, You guys in the Northern climes have 90 weight in your veins, compared to the 10 weight we carry down here.
I came to California many eons ago via South East Asia from Montana. My blood had become so thin I was never able to go home to Montana again. I'm now stuck in California shivering with each sunset.

I'd hoped to maybe put the 911 engine in this weekend, but I still have to finish her up. What do you have to do still on your car?

Shoot, after going the Cowboys game on T-day, and working out in the cold/wet garage here last weekend, I've been sick all week!!!
Finally went to the Doc and got some drugs to get me healthy.

Got an e-mail from Witch Hunter saying my injectors shipped back yesterday, so I am praying they show up tomorrow in the mail so I can finish it off. That's all that I have left to do.
Do you have the engine mounted or just looking pretty for pictures?

I've gotten zero done this week, as I've been laid up since Monday.....need to finish assembly of the intake and bolt it back on, along with the headers and sheetmetal. Probably a good day (or two) of work left, but very close. If I hadn't been sick, it would be going back in this weekend though.

Injectors came in today so I should have it back up and running this evening.
I'll post the injector report after while incase anyone is interested.

Otay.
I think I'm done. Put it back together and had Ang fire it up as I watched for leakage and yup, missed one fuel connection. Tightened it up and had her refire it, checked out everything and it passed. I'm not happy with how the #4 injector is sitting, but it is down as far as I could press it and it is not leaking.
Overall not a bad job to do, just time consuming.
worf928 one thing you might add to the revision. It seems to be easier to install the injectors in to the intake when they are already clipped to the rail. Passenger side was a breeze, but for some reason the drivers wasn't as smooth. Oh, typical dumb thing I did, that others might do, DO NOT connect the injector harness back on the injectors until they are seated in the rail AND the intake. I don't know what compelled me to do that on one side, but it didn't work out to well.
Witch Hunter did my injectors. I sent them off on Monday Priority Mail and I got them back on Saturday. Damn fast turn around. Cleaned, new caps, new seals and a nice report showing how things were before and after. Very well worth the $144.00 spent.
Here is the report.

They sent a graph with it showing before and after, but damned if I know what it means so I'm not going to bother posting it.
All in all, the cost of this is around $350 to $400 not including sendind the injectors out. That was $144.00 alone. I recommend it. I replaced all of the seals, gaskets, and hoses. I did replace both knock sensors but did not replace the hall sensor or the fly wheel sensor. Both the ISV and the TPS are in working order and the flappy is functioning as it should.
On the test drive I took a few mintues ago, throttle response was much quicker and felt like the car was smoother.
If you have another set of injectors, or are sure yours are in great operating order, then you can have this all done in a weekend, a day if you stay at it and don't have a beer between jobs.

I just looked at the doc for the first time since I revised it in 2004. It's pretty sparse on re-assembly and potential post-work problems.
