Question S Front Spoiler Mounting

I am installing a new fornt spolier on my '85 - it was MIA when I got the car but clearly had one previously (noted by fender holes).

I got the outside ends mounted but I am confused about the three center mounting points. There are holes in the lower radiator support that could be used but the mounting kit bolts are to short. The center bolt location would also appear to try and reshape the spoiler as the holes are straight accross but the spoiler has a shape indicating the center should be farther forward.

The mounting on either side of the brake duct openings are also a puzzle as the spoiler is significantly spaced away from the nose piece that it appears it should mount to. I do not have the brake ducts so that may be the problem.

The shop manual and the PET don't seem to provide much of a clue so any help would be appreciated.

That spoiler is a major PITA to install. You don't need the ducts to install it properly but you will need

928 505 160 02
928 International lists them as spoiler ducts. Go to their site and you can see a picture of what I'm talking about.

I'll take some pics.

OK, Thanks. I looked at the 928 International catalog and see the two parts you refer to. I gather that they get mounted in combination with the spoiler and the front nose at the two locations on either side of the two duct opening.

Pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again.
