Default Formal introduction

Hey guys & Girls !

Before I post anymore replays I thought I`d introduce myself (aswell) and yes, I`ll make it a bit shorter than Dwayne`s

My name is Ketil, and I live in a place called Mjøndalen in Norway

About 2 months ago I visited a guy in Sweden (Michael) selling a 79 928S. The car was OK for the price, but it didn`t suit my plan for a track car. Since Michael at that time had 6 more 928`s at his "928 Ranch" he showed me a 89 GT without an engine, and I thought; YES ! That sounds MUCH better

He was planning on putting a GTS engine in that car, but since I`m running a low budget on this, I asked him if he would allow me to put a downpayment on the car as is. He said yes

Long story short; I can bring the car home to Norway after I pay the next installment (VERY soon I hope)

My plan is to put the car on a diet, bigger wheels, RMB, Lexan rear quarters, race seats + + and eventually fit a spruced up S4 engine in the abyss you call an engine bay

Thank you guys & girls for all the tips, knowledge, and for having me

PS! I`l soon be a full fledged member

Nice to have you, but run away before you get so hooked and your life is dedicated to your 928. Just kidding, good luck and enjoy.

Ketil:

Nice to have another Scandinavian on the board. Add $17.95 to your final payment to take care of a Rennlist subscription and you'll have made the bestinvestment possible for your car.

I always think it's cool how the 928 board is truly a global community verse something like redneckcamaro.com

You will have a great track car soon.

Thanx guys for the warm welcome

It`s great to know that people from all over the world is watching me.

84totheFloor I`m sure gonna pay that extra $17.95 or better yet $32 for a 2 year subscription very soon

I`ve noticed that you guys like pictures, so I`m planning on an extensive photo ducumentary since my project is going to move slowly and wil give me good time to snap the picrures ( I know, it doesn`t work out that way)

While we wait, here are some pictures I took at Michaels :

Just more parts that you will need to make it a car plus finding a stick shift engine for the flywheel and clutch is not all that easy.
