Rain, Really? Imagine that, it rained on a group of 928's. You'd think we would be used to it by now.

Sorry I missed you, I was ducking from tent to tent trying to keep dry, the good news is the car made it there and back without any problems.
See you in couple weeks in NC.

Looks like fun! Thanks for the Pics.
Your other two projects look great by the way.
Did you have to use your V-1 on the trip to Hershey?

Eric,
I was looking for you. Glad to hear the car ran good.
This was my first run in my car since I did rod bearings, motor mounts, intake R/R and a whole lot more. I too had a smooth trip with no mech issues. (I did carry A FEW tools with me just in case-LOL)

Shane, I had imagined that the Penn. State police, upon hearing of the Porsche get-together, would be "pickin 'em off" one by one on I-81, I83 and even Hershey Park Drive!!!.
To my suprize, maybe due to the weather, I never saw a speed trap. The Valentine is a great uit. I would recommend that every 928 owner get one.

Doz,

I missed that car. There were a ton of 928's there!! I was pleased to see a great showing. I was a bit dissapointed that much of the swap-meet stuff was for air-cooled cars, but I got a couple of things (I really don't need more used parts lying around!) and a case of redline oil.
Come to SITM in May.

Greg,

I drove from Detroit to Cleveland area and met up Jack. Then we drove to Hersey in his truck. He had brought a few parts to get rid of. Maybe next year we can get more of a showing, maybe get more of the sharks in one area, and get a few more people to bring more parts to the trade???

Doz,

More sharks in one area would be great. We should all go together on a booth and bring stuff to sell and trade. (mostly amung those manning the booth, I suppose).

Greg, You hit it on the head. I know I should of brought my parts, But everyone knows you really don't want to make your 928 a pick-up truck.

Maybe Same time next year a month or so before hand we will regenerate this thread.

Greg,

You forgot to post the picture of Porsche's first attempt at an SUV that was at Hershey saturday. I couldn't get a picture of the full vehicle because of the crowds it drew!

somewhat ashamed for letting the bad forecast keep me home this year but by the look of things the weatherman got one right. the two times I did attend were very enjoyable. thanks for posting the pics and hopefully next year will grace us with better weather.

I did get the gentlemans name and phone number who was selling the tractor. I thought I recalled that someone was interested in finding some info on the Porsche tractors awhile ago.

The rain was definitely a drag. We have to get better organized beforehand, as I would have liked to meet up with you guys; doubly hard to do in the rain; I caravaned in with the Pocono PCA; the only time my radar went off on I-81 was those darned mobile info highway signs, which brings up a point : those signs have radar and guess who is reading it? From now on I call them Big Brother signs. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
