Smile fun with gauges (pics)

I added some gauges and stuff to the console.

In place of the clock is the Valentine 1 remote display panel.

The wiring is hard-wired into the car's electrical system. The wiring is hidden in the passenger post up to the visor. The unit clips to the passenger visor. This eliminates the need for the lighter adapter, makes a clean install without a coiled wire hanging down, and allow the unit to be used in any other car with the lighter adapter. The plug in the lighter in the pic above goes to the Garmin GPS V. <img src="http://members.rennlist.com/gh/valvisor.JPG" alt=" - " />

Greg,
I am glad to hear you got back with no problems. I wished I had your valentine when I was pulled over for driving 81 in a 55.

Steve,

"Whoops" I feel somewhat responsible for you getting that ticket by distracting you on the phone at the time
BTW, when your'e ready, hit me with another valve body and we'll pick up where we left off on the tesing. Are you coming to SITM in May?

Greg,
The first gear starts mod. Is done I just need to fine tune the shift points; you well have it in time for SITM. I will try to be there. I pleaded not guilty, the state trooper did not show, and it was dismissed. With the money I saved on the ticket I should buy a valentine.

Perhaps going off on a tangent, but tell me/us about the 1st start mod Steve? Does this allow for a higher down shift from 2nd to 1st? Id like to see a higer speed than either STOPPED or appx 12 mph.
Thanx

Steve,
Cool. I'll swap-out the VB as soon as it arrives and bring the other one to SITM. Thanks.

Shane, I don't have rear A/C.

I wouldn't care at all about a first gear start if it would just shift down to first like that at higher speeds than it does now.
