Blown 87, here are a few pics of my install...

This is how I purchased mine...

This is the skin cut. All the spot rivits are drilled out on the frame. I actually had my shop mount the qtr panels after the first lip on the B pillar because I didn't want the hasel of trying to get a VIN door sticker from Porsche. I know the Canadian emmisions label is NLA.

BTW, I was shocked at how much dirt there was inside the qtr panel. You can eat off my inner qtrs now. Don't know exactly how that would happen... but ya could!

Skins stripped from GTS rear structural metal

The GTS skins just lay on perfect. My body shop actually recomended this as it is not messing around with any stuctural metal. Less then half the work of a full qtr panel instal. You can see the cuts at the B and C pillars. This is just a test fit.

Before final sanding

In the right light, the flair to the GTS qtr's jump out at you.

If you need that German dismantler for the GTS fuel door, I can dig it up, and PM you on it. My time is tight right now, so let me now if it is a priority.

Cheers,
Michael

My friend jeff installed had the gts quarter installed, a few years back. He spent around $10000.00, had the entire car painted at the same time.

Lizard, they work just fine. You leave a 1/2 " extra around the cutout and use a flanger on the 1/2" reveal. Then you punch a hole at every 6" . At this point you use SEM panel adhesive and you have very little filler to complete. That adhesive cannot be compromised when cured.
