Book time for a single full 1/4 is about 25 hours , less if they cut and paste. The foam filler up high in the B pillar is I believe one which emits poisonous gases when melted. You also need a GTS gas door.

Thanks for the info Jim, is there anything else I need beside the filler door?

I believe the GTS rear wheel well liners are different from the S4 versions - they are also very expensive...

I'm waiting for Roger to make some better/cheaper ones....

Are those from the factory? If so, do you mind me asking how much? (I know - if you have to ask!!) I can't imagine the cost of getting those properly installed & painted - unless, of course, you are sleeping with the body guy.

Wow, sounds like this means with paint, cost of parts and labor, it is nearly a $10k mod...

The 87 never had rear liners that did not start until 1990..along with the more rubber under the carpet etc..

It was right at $2500 for the pair to my door.
The body guy is a friend, we do trade out work, I do the mechanicals for his shop, he does the body work for mine.
The figure we started with was $6,000, that was before I decided to do the rear quarters.

They had it ready to spray color when I started changing things, he was so happy about that.

It will be a show quality job, color sanded and buffed.

Jim since these are later model fenders, should I put the rear liners in it?

Mmm......

$2500 delivered........

I believe a read that Louie Ott's fenders (although fiberglass) are $700 delivered.

Let's see, that's $1800 towards fat tires and wheels........

Ouch.
