Default Chips for 82?

I just read the chip post re: ebay and it made me wonder... I chipped my 87's and could tell an immediate difference. Actually I chipped the auto with a clone for about $50.00 and it was great. I got the same clone for the 5 speed and when I opened it up, it already had the AutoThority chips, so...

My question is.. I have never seen a chip or chips offered for the 82 and was wondering if this is just not popular enough or if it can't be done - easily, or if there is some other reason.

Inquiring, uninformed minds want to know.

Thanks
Rod

A lot of what those chips do is change timing to increase HP.

On your 82, just loosen up the 13mm bolt on the distributor, and rotate

But if it makes you feel better, you can send me $500 for Enzo's tip.

Andrew,
Are you back on the "hood" medication?

I think you may be suffering from RSS "rebuild stress syndrome".

Good Luck

L-Jet fuels quite well through the whole rpm range, if all the sensors all working, even with mods, without a AFPR. If it doesn't fuel properly after mods, it's likely a problem with the mods.
