with a perfect offset you could get about a 285 in there without any rolling. I run 275 under the rear of mine.
And the stock size on all S4s I have seen is 245 not 265.

I've got 235's and 285's (18") on mine without having changed anything else.

I have 285x30x18 in the rear, and they are on OEM BBS Sport Design wheels 18x10 with an offset/et of 65mm. They fit perfect on my 1991 S-4, no modifications to the body at all

I'll be attempting 295/30-18's on the back of a stock S4 today. I have a baseball bat with me in case the 58mm offset doesn't do the trick

Bert---

you might be able to see my 997 lobster claws on my Euro in my avatar.....

19 x 8 235/35/19 on the front

19 x 11 315/25/19 on the rear

That's about as big as you can go without major surgery on either end.

(I am told that you can go 18 X 10 265/35/18 on the front, but it requiers a little fender work)

Yeah...they're all around over here.
Just never got rid of anything over the years.
Be suprised what 2 garages & 4 lifts will hold.

I have just confirmed that 295/30-18 on 18x10 Carerra III's w/58mm offset does clear stock S4 bodywork and suspension bits.

That's using Yoko Advan Neova AD07's (which are rated slightly narrower in cross section than some of the other 295/30's out there FYI)

235/40/18-fronts w/57mm offset are fine too.
