You know guys I was just looking at Scott G's website and noticed he has a Porsche CD-2. I just recently installed a new Blaupunkt Santa Fe in my 86 928 and still have the Porsche CD-2. The only thing is that it is fried. I would still like to have that cd player but I can't seem to find one on ebay or other sources. Does anyone have a CD-2 that they are willing to sell. I don't think that it is worth trying to repair my fried cd-2, the repair alone would probibly cost more than what the cd player is worth.

Michael,
I got mine repaired at <a href="http://www.radiorepairporsche.com" target="_blank">Radioman</a>.
They charged $200 to refurb it. The price doesn't seem to be affected by the problem just a flat rate.
I like it but I'm sure a newer radio would give better sound.
