Dang nice to meet everyone this weekend. Had an amazing time and felt pretty fortunate to have access to such a beautiful facility and instruction by Rob and Ed at the track. Thanks guys! Heres the few pictures I got from Friday and Saturday morning.

btw, I think that's Troy or Sean behind me in the night shot?? Not sure. We were in process of finding the hotel and attempting to figure out WHERE Chuck was leading us. Nice evening tour or Granbury Chuck!
already looking forward to next year.

Ben

900.8 miles in the past 4 days with a few hundred at close to triple-digit speed I had a great time seeing some faces from last year and new ones from this year. MANY thanks to all who put this together or helped, including Roger and Jim for the great route for the drive, Chuck for the coordination of the shirts, Rob for the use of his 'villa' at Motorsports Ranch, and especially Roger for the sponsorship from 928SRUS and the many, many door prizes! Couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

That was the best Third Coast of all time IMOO !!!!
All about the people and you could not wish to meet a better group of nice people.

Rob & Karen went "over & above" and hosted us at there wonderfull Villa.
Rob, Ed & friends provided a great track day and much fun was had by all.

Jim M did a great job of navigating myself and the group on 200 miles of what was outstanding roads.
Thanks for putting up with my driving Jim 8>) - brave man.

Two excellent venues for dinner - thank you Karen.

Great pictures from Angela & Kim and others - keep them coming.

Chuck did a great job on the T shirts as normal.

Organization accolades to Jim M, Ed, Chuck. Could not have done it without you guys.

Thanks to the 928 OC for the sponsorship.

Donald,

Yes, I remember getting left behind and TMAX picking me up!!! Almost got left in the middle of no where as I left my phone in Jim's car! You got a great memory man!!

You are correct, That is the same Mike you are thinking about, yeah I think he did 3rd Coast version 1.5.

Roger, thanks to 928s R us for sponsoring. Thanks again for the 928OC and their support as well. I think we had a pretty good # of new members sign up!!

Great pics everyone, thanks for sharing! Great shot of Nika enjoying her bone, her smile is as big as any I saw over the weekend.

Karen and I enjoyed the opportunity to share the Villa with everyone and to have the opportunity to see some old friends and meet many new ones.

The highlight for me was certainly the track day. I was amazed at the progress everyone made throughout the day, I don't think I was as quick a learner when I got started. Kudos to the whole group and I hope at least a couple of you 'caught the bug' and will be back out long before next year.

Thanks to Roger, Jim, and Chuck for making the whole thing happen and to Ed for all the help with the track day.

What a great time with a great bunch of people. The Saturday drive was awesome. I missed the track time, but hopefully I can make it out in the near future. I can't wait for Risky Biz to post all of her pictures.

For all of you rennlisters out there in New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, even Colorado and Kansas: You are not as far away as you think!!! I hope more of you will come out next year and enjoy the comaraderie. You won't regret it.

MANY, MANY THANKS to Roger (for sponsorship and door prizes) and to Rob and Karen (great hosts) for the hospitality.

Debi, Russell, and I had a wonderful time even though our schedules only allowed us to be there Saturday night and Sunday. We really enjoyed meeting everyone and hope to see you all again soon.

We are planning for SITM in June, and the next 3rd Coast.

Meanwhile, I will be working on building the Euro hybrid, and Deb and I will be doing LSR's Concours events as usual.

A big THANKS to Rob for giving Russell a ride in the 911 race car!!! Before this weekend, all he talked about was Toyota Supra this and tuner that.....Now he's after me for a 930 whaletail (at least it's a Porsche).

Thanks again to Roger---I'll be ordering stuff from you in the future---door prizes are installed!!
