Hello everyone. My name is Ryan and I am a long time 928 enthusiast and a new member here now that I am finally the proud owner of my own dream-car 1989 928 S4. I would like to get into contact with people who live within a few hours drive of me (in the Cape Coral/Ft myers area) who have a mechanical interest in working on their 928's, and can both use my assistance and offer theirs when a project needs to be done on our cars. We have a great group of shark owners here in Fl. I live about 4-5 hours north in Ormond Beach but I'm sure you'll hear from some South Fl guys soon. You need to get on the 928 O.C. email list so you can keep up with our statewide events. Mel is our leader and does a great job. Sorry you missed Rennsport at Daytona but we'll have another big get together in Feb. at Sebring.

Hey Whitefox, I don't have much experience but I'm a descent learner and would appreciate the experience. Is yours an auto or 5-speed? I have an auto and it works fine but after I have it around 140 or so and slow down again it doesn't want to switch out of 1st or 2nd gear again until I shut it off and restart it, quite odd... My secondary radiator fan is not working either and I'd like to flush the coolant sometime soon. If anyone knows where I can get a replacement fan I'd appreciate it, I may just replace the whole fan system and shroud with one of the new curved blade fan systems. Anyway drop me an email and we'll see about getting together at your place. If anyone else is planning on doing some work let me know, I'd like to familiarize myself and get experience with these cars as much as can. Thanks again. -Ryan
