Post MSD 6a

Just purchased a msd 6a for my 2002 Dodge truck and was wondering if I can install one in my 84 928S Euro? I had one in my mustang GT and I felt a noticeable difference. Better throttle response and better upper rpm's. Has anyone had any good experience's after installing the msd in a 928? Thanks Sal

Blaster HVC Coil:
<a href="http://www.truckaddons.com/Catalog/subpages/msd_coils.htm" target="_blank">http://www.truckaddons.com/Catalog/subpages/msd_coils.htm</a>

Produces maximum power with a MSD 6 Series ignition control. Low primary resistance allows it to take in all of the MSD's energy and step up the voltage combined with a high amount of current delivering a powerful spark to the plug for complete combustion in the cylinder. Secondary tower accepts an HEI style plug terminal. C.A.R.B. Approved: E.O. D-40-27.

Is this what you are reffering too?. I don't think it will work .......?.

I have the 5.9 L motor non-disel in my Dodge. It's rated at 245 bhp. I know the hemi is rated at 350. I'am installing the msd ignition unit in my Dodge for added pulling power, because with a load it feels a little underpowered. But my question was do they make a msd ignition unit for the 928? Thanks Sal

You don't need an MSD. The factory ignition unit installed on the 928 is an excellent system with very high output and very long life.

No gain, lots of potential pain.

Jack,

I dunno, but putting the HEMI in the 928 wouldn't seem to be as fun when a Stratus tries to go around you. He would kinda expect it when you blow his doors off!

Of course maybe if you were hauling another 928 it would be even funnier! <img border="0" alt="[hiha]" title="" src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" />
