How long has this car been for sale?

It is not like Will Hoit's 30K GTS for $46k is flying off the lot or even SteveG's GTS with 66k miles for $30K is not selling fast.

IMHO with the housing recession and the economy slowing down prices are going to fall.
Careful with the inferences unless you know something. You are questioning the sellers integrity without knowing the facts. True, this seller has put the car up for sale a couple times in the past and half heartedly tried to sell it. Only place its been listed that entire time is my website........ His problem is he hasn't bothered to clean the car up (brake dust making the front wheels look dark gray) nor has he bothered to take decent pictures of the car. They are the same poor pictures he has used everytime the car has come up for sale.

As for the other cars, MW's car is not a 5-speed and it has 30k miles. I don't know about Steve's car but if it has 66k miles that probably explains a lot. I know that is not necessarily high miles but for whatever reason when it comes to a GTS its high.

I know you some of you guys find it hard to believe but low mile GTSs, especially low mileage 5-speed 1995 GTSs are drawing big money! Trust me, they are.......

IMHO, the housing market might affect sales of lower priced cars but somebody who is going to spend $90k on a GTS probably isn't too concerned about the housing market nor are they worried about making their next house payment...if they have one at all.

Those with money to spend on cars likely have enough that the economy wont affect them much.

That 6700 mile GTS has been for sale for a long time.......with a nice pro level detail and some better pictures he probably could get a big $$$ for it....

Which leads me to another ???? Whats the most expensive 928 ever sold in a RESALE (not original owner)....or sold in the last few years....... I think mid $60's is about it

The '95 on E*Bay now has a $82,500 bid by a Green Star bidder.

Chuck is right. GTS's are rare, and that combined with that it was the most evolved of the 928s will put them in a special market.
My S4 is one of 2500 or so in the USA from '87, maybe you could argue that if 70% were autos, then it makes it one of 750? Still not a big deal. I refer to my car as a "common-as-dirt" S4. But I am grinning when I say it.

He had a bid at 82,500 and curiously it was retracted. "Entered wrong amount" Yeah, right. I hear somebodys chain being pulled.

True enough, not to mention that while there may have been that many '87 S4's then, there certainly are not that many now - so the rarity increases proportionately - keep smiling! (not that it'll help our values in the near term though)...

We have a 55k mile 94' GTS 5-speed (Black on Cashmere) and a 27k mile 95' GTS 5-speed (Black on Black) that are both just sitting here collecting dust until the right person comes along. No big hurry to sell, prices on them are not going down.

Dave, these have to be the best kept secrets when it comes to GTSs for sale. How about sending me some info and I'll at least put them on my "for sale" page.
