Driving around topless in the rain.
Well I pulled it off and I coundn't get it back on. I had to drive to work topless. I hope it doesn't rain again.
Has anyone had any luck putting the cable from the sunroof into the plactic part that moves the sunroof? I plan on going to Porsche at lunch to buy the Plastic part for both sides. Both broke on me, I hope it goes back together.
Thanks if anyone can put in there 2 cents.
Brittany Chen Li
PS Can Anyone recomend a good lubricant?

Brittany -
Check the archives - there was a BIG THREAD on the sunroof in the last few weeks...
(PLEASE - don't tease us with that 'topless' thing...and then go as far as asking about lubricants!)

Hey BD -
Where did you get the emoticans?. I think I know where LOL :-)
Brittany -
As far as a lubricant - You need something that won't run off. I used some left over CV Bearing Grease. Autozone, or anything similar, sells axle grease/bearing grease in tubes and in tubs - inexspensive.
Don't use your bare hands to apply - Use latex gloves -
Good Luck - and Big Dave is right, a visual on your issue could help us help you.
Thanks and Good Luck -
PS - So when are you going to post a picture of yourself?. I'll tell you what, you do you and I'll do me - Sounds Fair?.

(Insert typical suburban household living room here)
[Music from father knows best plays in background]
[Doorbell rings, and Mrs. Li answers the door and sees Brittany and Drewster]
Dialogue:
Brittany: Mom, this is Drewster, we met on the Rennlist boards when I posted double entendre postings about being topless!
Mom: How sweet dear! Drewster, you look like such a nice boy
Drewster: Wow, your Brittany's mom? Wow, I thought you were her SISTER!
Mom: Oh, what a sweet boy, here's $300--go out and buy a new belly pan for Brittany and install them together. I'll make some lemonade.
[Fade to commercial with music]
Love, Rennlist style. ; )

Three Wheelin'
Brit,
I used Redline wheel bearing grease on the sunrooof and the down side was the smell of the grease was noticable when the sunroof was open on a hot day. I ended up removing that grease and using a silicone type lube. I will renew it each spring.
