garage equipment.....
I have a question for the group,
Back when I was racing..(SCCA small production class) I used to rent one of those small parts washers from Safety Kleen. It did not cost too much and was great. Now, I don't have nearly the need but I still would like to have something I could use to wash parts with. I also would like to have a small glass beading machine for home shop use. Do any of you have any suggestions as to type, size etc. I have a 5hp compressor that is old, but still working. If I had to buy a new compressor to run the bead blasting machine, that might be ok too. Suggestions, or BTDT please.
Thanks in advance

There is a Harbor Freight in Portland you should check out. It is a great source of cheap tools. I buy stuff I rarely use (although some things have really been put through the ringer) and have had great success. I have a small benchtop sand/bead blaster I got on sale for $69.00. Works great.
Besides Harbor Freight, try http://www.eastwoodcompany.com for all that sort of stuff. Great for small paint jobs too. Be sure and shop around for the best deal.
